Nurturing Neurodivergent Talent in the Workplace

Many organisations want to support their neurodivergent employees well but are not sure where to start, or have tried generic training that hasn't landed. Elizabeth brings something different: 20 years of building genuinely inclusive environments in education, combined with lived experience of neurodivergence and the practical skills to support individuals and teams. She has worked across law, accountancy, architecture, construction, the arts, the charity sector, adult social care, education, and the health sector.

Elizabeth offers:

  • 1:1 executive function coaching: Practical, structured coaching for neurodivergent employees - building strategies for organisation, task management, emotional regulation, and sustainable performance at work.
  • Manager and HR training: Practical training to help managers and HR teams understand neurodivergent conditions, have productive conversations, and implement reasonable adjustments that actually work.
  • Workplace neurodiversity consultancy: Independent review of policies, systems, and culture - identifying where neurodivergent employees face unnecessary barriers and what to change.
  • Workplace needs assessments: Supporting employers to understand the needs of neurodivergent employees and identify adjustments that will genuinely make a difference.
  • Access to Work: Coaching and other services may be fundable through the government's Access to Work scheme. Elizabeth can provide supporting information for applications - the process is managed by the employee and employer. Visit gov.uk/access-to-work for details.

Initial enquiries are welcome by email at hello@elizabethswan.co.uk or via the Contact page on this website.

A note on scope: Elizabeth's work focuses on practical strategies and neuroinclusive environments - not clinical assessment or diagnosis. Where a holistic approach would benefit, she is experienced working alongside occupational health practitioners and other specialists.

Working 1:1

Executive Function Coaching

Coaching is suitable for neurodivergent employees who want practical support to strengthen their executive functioning at work, including:

Starting tasks and managing competing demands without becoming overwhelmed. Organising workload and meeting deadlines consistently. Managing strong emotional responses to pressure, criticism, or uncertainty. Building and maintaining boundaries around time and energy. Navigating workplace relationships and communication. Sustaining performance without burning out.

Coaching is available to individuals directly and can also be commissioned by employers as part of a wider neurodiversity support offer.
