I work with families and schools to support children and young people with a range of neurodiverse needs. My areas of expertise include: navigating the Education Health and Care plan process (including mediation and Tribunal) and identifying provision to meet the needs of neurodiverse young people.
For families at the start of the special educational needs process or those unsure of where to go next, I offer signposting, support and advocacy to disentangle the complexities of the SEND systems. Where needed, support extends to working in partnership with your child's education setting or other health / education professionals actively involved in their care.

Coaching for children and young people is most effective after 8 years of age.
My approach to working with children is trauma-informed, drawing on the ‘best bets’ from research and the child's individual needs. I work with children either in school or in a therapeutic setting, online or face-to-face. Sessions focus on identifying and developing strategies to overcome - or navigate - barriers to learning, building resilience and growing relationships within the school, or wider environment. Whilst my work is therapeutic, I do not offer psychotherapy or counselling. Sessions with children / young people are usually an hour long and a programme of six may be recommended.
Yes. I work with adults in many different ways, depending on individual need. I have experience working with adults, who have diagnosis of (or who are awaiting diagnosis of):

Before we begin working together, I gather information using short questionnaires as well as information from our discovery call. Sessions with adults are usually an hour long and a programme of four to six sessions may be recommended.
